The cupboard is handmade and is mahogany in color.

The linen cupboard is furnished according to Twente custom. Twente is a region in the province of Gelderland (the Netherlands). As a young girl you started filling your linen closet at a young age. If it was full, the girl could get married. The linen is folded in a special way. The pipe was given a bridal pipe at the wedding. At the birth of each son or daughter, a flower was attached to the pipe. If the pipe broke, the marriage would break.

The 3 cups on top of the cupboard are hand painted

The cupboard comes from the dollhouse museum in Heesch.
